The Project Objective


The idea of the project is at one hand to make competencies more visible to the individual, which can serve as a motivational factor for the individual in his/her educational development and facilitating access to lifelong learning and on the other hand to make competencies more visible to companies, so that they can develop more appropriate educational and training opportunities for the low qualified employees and identify ways to organise information about human capital and confirm competencies.

The project main aim is to provide integrated support tailored for the most disadvantaged groups of unemployed in the context of global economic crisis through development of innovative integrated training tools and materials in order to increase motivation and self-awareness, create incentives for acquiring the new skills demanded on the labour market, improve job competencies and thus promote efficient reintegration of jobseekers into employment.

The concrete objective of the project is to transfer, upgrade and further develop the results of the successfully accomplished project “Interactive personal training and enhancement of employment competencies – JobTool” which developed innovative training programme and materials designed as integrated solution to help the young and older unemployed improve their job-finding capacities.

The INSIGHT programme will be specifically directed at disadvantaged unemployed – young and older unemployed, migrants, migrants’ children, people facing socioeconomic disadvantages, and their counsellors. In this way the tool intends to transfer most recent knowledge from research into practice through training methodology combining the process of counselling, training and job-seeking in a single, integrated approach.
